Corporate Membership

With corporate membership, businesses and foundations can meet some of their corporate social responsibility objectives by introducing staff to the voluntary sector. Organisations and their employees can make the most of our events by providing financial support, time and skills to non-profits they share values with. They can also support our work by hosting crowdfunding events at their offices, giving greater visibility to their charitable commitments through our wide-reaching platform.

Corporate members can also nominate small non-profits they support to pitch at an event, take part in a selection panel, host a bespoke live crowdfunding event to support their chosen charities and offer to match funds raised. The TFN team works closely with each corporate member to ensure that they get the most of out of their membership.

Please contact our chief executive Eugenie Harvey for more information and to join.

Form a Giving Team

Some of our corporate members use our events to introduce their staff members to the voluntary sector. Small teams of colleagues attend TFN events with company money that they can donate as they wish to the non-profits they choose. Many end up giving personally as well, showing that it can be an effective way of engaging staff members in charitable giving and volunteering:

"Octopus Giving is delighted to support TFN as a corporate member. We pride ourselves on backing smaller charities - and we continue to be amazed by the passion and commitment of the organisations that pitch at TFN. We send half a dozen employees to an event, each given a portion of our grant-making budget to give as they choose. It's a great way for colleagues to discover new causes and forge some long-lasting connections with the organisations they meet." Gina Harper, Octopus Investments

Nominate organisations

Corporate membership offers all staff members the opportunity to nominate non-profit organisations they support to pitch at our events, enabling them to introduce their project to our audience. Drum Works, funded at TFN London in 2018, was sponsored by the Guildhall School of Music and Drama:

"Pitching at TFN enabled us to get an important new project off the ground for young people facing exceptionally challenging circumstances. The project is now flourishing; it's having a profound impact for the individuals involved and we've been able to secure further fundingto continue beyond the pilot phase - all thanks to the initial support from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama nominating us to pitch at TFN." Jenny Beer, Drum Works

Host an Event

TFN events are kindly hosted by our corporate members at their offices. Events bring together a wide range of extraordinary people and are a great networking opportunity to meet like-minded donors and potential clients. Guests can donate easily and will full confidence on the night - TFN works hard behind the scenes to conduce due diligence for each organisation pitching, claim Gift Aid on their behalf and pay grants fully within 3 months of the event.

"Goodman Derrick are very proud to support TFN and we particularly enjoy actively engaging in the TFN community by hosting some of their London events. Our staff enjoy coming along to these events and find them really inspiring." Jack Osbon, Goodman Derrick

Hold a bespoke event

Companies and organisations host their own live crowdfunding events, for employees and clients. Whether it is a small event for a few participants with the desire and capacity to give more, such as our partnership with Addidi Wealth, or larger gatherings for employees wanting to support small social enterprises, like PwC's Social Entrepreneurs Club, live crowdfunding can be adapted to a company's objectives.
