About This Event

1st December 2016 - 6:00pm

We are delighted to be teaming up with our long-time friends at Macquarie Group for our final event of 2016. Exclusively for our members and their guests, it'll be full of our usual festive frivolities, including four projects pitching for your support (more details below) We'll top it off with a very special performance from Finding Rhythms - funded in March 2016, they support prisoners and ex-offenders through music. Members can RSVP using the link below. If you're not a member but would like to join us then sign up now!

How It Works

At our live crowdfunding events, non-profits that are nominated and selected by members pitch for £10,000 each. Our events are open to anyone to attend and donations range from £10 to £10,000. Not been to a live crowdfunding event before? Read this to find out more.

The Projects

At our events, charities pitch for 6 minutes before taking questions from the audience.

Training disadvantaged young people (aged 11-16) as journalists and publishing their articles on the TSV website, giving schoolchildren a chance to share their world through words.

Supporting those who feel that life is no longer worth living, by providing free, face to face, on-going support with trained listening volunteers, supported by mental health professionals.

Carrying out dignified and respectful distribution of additional food, hygiene items, clothing and other essentials for the refugees living in Alexandreia and Filippiada refugee camps in Greece

Relieving poverty and financial hardship caused by a lack of access to electricity and promote environmental protection through developing affordable, low energy equipment for “off-grid” and under-electrified communities in developing countries.
