TFN Bristol
About This Event
With beautiful views of the city, we're delighted that TFN Bristol will be returning to the offices of TLT on Thursday 12th October. You'll get to meet five fantastic organisations that are changing our communities in Bristol for the better and be given the opportunity to support them. Tickets are now available using the link below or for details please visit the Quartet Community Foundation website.
At our events, charities pitch for 6 minutes before taking questions from the audience.
The C.H.E.E.S.E. Project have successfully developed a unique, low cost, thermal-imaging technique to reveal domestic energy loss, allowing low-cost remedies to bring warmer homes to the fuel-poor and significantly reduce carbon emissions.
Babbasa supports young people from less advantaged communities to pursue their professional ambitions through confidential 1:1 support, professional mentoring schemes, skill training and career orientated events.
Refugees Welcome Homes reduces homelessness among new single refugees in Bristol by providing affordable accommodation as a first step to their new life in the UK.
Somali Kitchen are a group of Somali women who want to set up a catering company and/or a community café that helps us raise awareness of the negative impacts of some of the fast food takeaways and to encourage families to prepare, cook and develop healthy habits and lifestyle.
Tales by the Oven supports homeless people in hostels by delivering workshops and training that culminate in pop up pizza restaurants and culinary events that bring people together.
